less steakhouse — more steakhome

This crazy culinary journey of mine has taken me all around the world. I grew up in Juarez, immersed in the flavors and culture of Mexico. As an adult, I’ve traveled to countries and regions around the world with their own unique ingredients – things I’d never tasted or seen before – and learned how to work with other indigineous ingredients to create inspired flavors.

Carne has been evolving in my mind for more than three decades, born out of the beauty and creativity of the people and places around the globe. It’s the culmination of my travels and reflects what I’m most excited about – sharing incredible flavors, providing an escape from the everyday, and having ridiculous amount of fun around a table full of friends. Carne is an evening filled with your favorite songs played on vinyl, laughter until your stomach hurts, and memories made with the people you love.

Carne, to me, is opening the doors to my own home, my own kitchen, where you can come-as-you-are and enjoy a place and sapce that makes everyone feel like a friend. A place you can come any day for any reason. Not so much a steakhouse but a steakhome.
